Rainfall differences during storms is amazing. my field guy uses it to check conditions at my farms before he heads out. I do not have them all on weather underground or such, but can view them from my website or phone via the app. also, it has helped a lot with temp differences for spraying or other activities. I can look at weather at our northern most farm vs southern to see if I can spray or. I am using the Davis Vue stations, connected via WiFi to update. I run 3 at different farms over 10 miles. Need one that handles regular high wind, because that's the only thing we get alot of here. !Īny of you have them? What brand and model? Like/dislikes? Really I'm just looking for a good reason to buy one. Not that they would probably take personal weather/rain data info, but maybe? Thinking this could be useful not only for personal records, but maybe even for drought monitoring. Would be great for summer time when baling to watch the humidity real time-Īlso one I was reading will log and graph your daily weather info/temps for years and enter it direct to your computer. Problem is the nearest one is 30 miles away. My weather underground app automatically picks up the real time data from the nearest ones that are connected to the internet. I've seen a few more of them popping up at neighbors places here and there. Posted 21:58 (#6854740) Subject: Who owns a personal weather station?
